Goodnotes became the central hub for how Wakestart captures ideas, plans projects and manages client relationships. Instead of juggling multiple notebooks and tools, everything is now organised digitally by client, project and category — creating a consistent structure across the business.
The biggest shift came from bringing AI into the planning process. Rather than starting from scratch, the team now uses Goodnotes to generate structured drafts for project scopes, timelines and pricing estimates in minutes.

Collaboration also became more dynamic. Using shared whiteboards, the team can sketch product concepts, plan workflows and review client ideas in real time — with everyone able to annotate directly on designs, regardless of where they're working. Documents that once had to be printed, signed and scanned are now imported, marked up and reviewed entirely within the app.
Onboarding new team members was equally smooth. Goodnotes required minimal training and felt intuitive straight away, making it easy to roll out across a growing remote team without adding operational overhead.
